If you operate a website or blog and need an interactive color picker, nothing
could be easier to install than Color Diver. The Diving Buddy widget can give your
readers a choice of up to
40,000 colors with a single line of code! Here's all you need to get started.
- Choose an image for your color palette. You can use one of our stock charts and photos or create a custom palette using your favorite image editor. (For best results choose an image between 128 and 200 pixels square. The image can be gif, png or jpg type) - Make sure the image is permanently hosted on the web at your web site or photo host, then paste the URL (link) to the image in the field above. - Color Diver will retrieve the image, map it for color, add the map to our database, and give you the code for your widget on the next page. That's it! Copy the object to your web page, blog or auction and you are ready to go! PNG is recommended We recommend using a PNG image for your palette image. PNG is a lossless compression method which means you will get exact colors with no artifacts. |
View Stock Images Browse our stock images above to locate the color palette to include with your custom tool or create your own: As a designer, you may have a color signature. If so, consider creating a custom palette from your colors. The control may contain up to 4000 distinct colors assuming one pixel per color. In practice, such fine granularity is not convenient. Consider creating an image with small landings of color spanning 5 X 5 pixels or more. Below is a sample.
