Color Diver can dive down in your photos and come up with a great set of colors for your web page or blog. Load the image you want to explore or choose from the assortment of stock photos below (click on the photo you want)
Your current colors are listed in the text box to the left - ready to copy and paste.
Here's an idea: HTML comment tags have already been added to the text box.
Copy the entire content to your working HTML document and you will have a handy
reference to your colors right in the code of the project!
Select an Image Diver will load with a default palette image. To
select a different image, input the web address of your image in the URL field and click
'select.' The images selected will be resized so choose a small image for fastest loads.
Menu Items
Save: Save the current color set. Display: Show the current colors in text format (copy-paste) Color Wheel: Create a color wheel image with the current colors. Palette: Creates a Palette Image from the current color set. Color History: Display a window of the last 100 colors selected. RGB Mixer: Expose a control which can fine tune the selected color. Start Over: Reload the Diver Page.

Lock Lock the Current selected colors (for safety) Auto Next Automatically select the next slot in the basket. Recall: Reload the last saved color set at any time. Auto Dive: Automatically sample the image. Click again for more. Basic 16:Load the original 16 color Palette specified by HTML 4.0. Top 16:Load the top 16 colors by frequency from the image. Shades:Create a gradient from the current color.
Use the lock control to prevent accidental destruction of a previously
selected color. Example: To change just one color of a set, activate lock to prevent
automatic updates then select the field to be edited. Choose a new color with the diver
or just type in the desired code.Double click the field to expose the
RGB tool for fine adjustments.
Hint: If colors produced by the diver seem too light or too dark,
select the closest shades then create a palette image from the set.
When the Palette Image appears, you will see a selection to substitute
it for the current image.
* Palette Images contain several stops of
shading above and below each base color in the current color set.
